First Joint Postdoc Symposium

We are delighted to announce our 1st Joint Postdoc Symposium, with the topic “How Nature came to be: From Molecules to Organisms”.

The event will take place on the 7th of November 2019 at the Max-Planck campus in Tübingen.

The aim of the Symposium is to bring together postdocs from the local Max-Planck Institutes and the University of Tübingen in an inspiring scientific environment that promotes scientific and career-oriented discussions. Postdocs will have the opportunity to present their research and to discuss and interact with each other and three inspiring external speakers over “round table”, “scientific speed-dating” and “panel discussion” sessions. Invited speakers are recent post-docs who have moved on to become young established researchers, and will speak about their science, and contribute to the other sessions with their academic and scientific insights.

If  you are a postdoc or a late stage PhD student at any Max-Planck institute or at the University of Tübingen, we invite you to register and share your experiences with other young researchers. There is no registration fee! More information and the registration link can be found at www.eb.mpg.de/events/pds.

Abstract submission closes on the 8th of September 2019 but you can register until the 30th of September.

The organizing committee,

Daniel Capek, Carolin Kolmeder, Joana Pereira, Michael Werner and Elisabeth Weir
